I’m Jay, the coach behind The Strength Strategist.

I have spent more than 27 years training, competing, learning, and building strength under the bar. My background includes powerlifting, bodybuilding, CrossFit, Olympic lifting, football, rugby, endurance training, and general strength development.

I know what it means to train hard, push limits, work through setbacks, and keep showing up when motivation is gone.

My background also includes over a decade in law enforcement and service in the Army National Guard as an infantry NCO. Standards, discipline, leadership, and execution are not just words I use for branding. They are principles I have lived.

The way I coach is simple.

Build the plan.
Execute the plan.
Review the results.
Adjust what needs to change.
Keep moving forward.
